The Encinar de Sotogrande hotel is close to some of Spain’s finest golf courses including Valderrama, host of the 1997 Ryder Cup, which is 10 minutes’ drive away, Real Sotogrande Golf, San Roque Golf Club, and Finca Cortesin Golf Clubs. It is a 15 minute drive to the beach and to Sotogrande marina, which is lined with bars and restaurants. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to this area. There are 106 rooms, with a choice of Standard, Superior, Junior Suite and Suite. The modern spaces are decorated in warm colours and many have views overlooking the garden and La Cañada golf course. The garden is a fantastic spot – it has a pool, a terrace and paddle courts, so you can be as active or as relaxed as you like. Inside, there is a modern bar and a restaurant, plus a couple of function rooms. The hotel had a comprehensive renovation of all its facilities, rooms and common areas in 2023.

The Sotogrande restaurant offers a tranquil view of an ancient forest, where you can hear early morning birds sing while you enjoy our generous breakfast. During the day you can swim in the pool or play paddle-ball on one of the two paddle courts. When you're done, you can refresh yourself with a drink at the pool bar restaurant and eat a fresh salad or sandwich from our snack menu.
