Miraflores Golf Club opened for play in 1990. Miraflores follows the gentle contours of the Sierra Mijas foothills. The first design of the golf course was by Robert Trent Jones and then it was redesigned and overseen by Falco Nardi who sadly died before its completion. The fairways and greens are maintained in lush splendour throughout the year, and water is supplied from three artificial ponds which come into play on four holes. This course offers a pleasant and challenging round of golf. The Golf Academy offers tuition for everyone -- from the outright beginner to the most discerning low-handicap golfer wishing to hone his skills.
