Located in the north of the island, Golf Pollensa was opened in 1986 designed by José Gancedo and redesigned in 2000 by Michael Pinner (Nicklaus Group). The 9 hole course offers panoramic views over the Tramuntana mountains, olive groves, the bays of Pollença and Alcudia and s’Albufereta reserve. It is of average difficulty, and is ideal for players of all handicaps. The course is quite undulating and relatively short with a lot of trees and other hazards. The greens are maintained to a high standard, there are two lakes and many olive and pine trees. The golf course has two par 3s, one par 5 and six par 4s.
