Located in a unique spot by the sea, Costa Ballena Ocean Golf Club has 27 competition holes, a 9 hole Par 3 and the best practice area in Europe, according to the Swedish Professional Golfers Association (PGA). Olazábal's design is both magnificent and challenging for the lowest handicaps whilst kinder to more amateur players. It is a full course, with some holes next to the beach and others defended by bunkers and strategically located lakes. It is par 72 — 6,036 m for men and 5,155 m for women.

The Costa Ballena Ocean Golf Club facilities include a par 3 course designed by Jose María Olazábal and IGD. It has different tees including a Pitch & Putt course approved by the RFEG, where various Tournaments have been held on the National Circuit.
It has been carefully designed to meet the same quality standards as the Championship course. The different lakes, the smooth contours of the greens and the many bunkers make this course a challenge both for professional and advanced players seeking to perfect their game, as well as beginners who are trying golf for the first time.

Facilities:
• The Driving Range is one of the biggest in Europe, with a width of 345 meters (120 players can practice at the same time) and 350 meters long with views out to the Atlantic Ocean. The whole range is grass with no need for mats with floodlights for those who want to practice at night.
• Golf Academy
• Large putting green with a whole variety of slopes and undulations.
• 2 chipping and pitching greens with slopes and undulations to practice any shot imaginable. All the chipping greens have bunkers surrounding them.
• Club House with changing rooms, sauna, hot tub, specialist golf fitness studio, pro shop, function rooms, cafeteria, restaurant, meeting room and free Wi-Fi. The views from the terrace of the Club House over the Atlantic Ocean are unforgettable.
