The Golf de Pals golf course has an extraordinary landscape with its location on coastal dunes maintained by the planting of pine trees at the beginning of the 20th century. The course is also close to the sea which lies some 500 metres away. It is the oldest course on the Costa Brava (it was opened in 1966).
Designed by F. W. Hawtree, this course is considered to be one of the
most prestigious golf courses in Spain. The course has a typically English
design, and a round of par 73. There is direct access from La Costa Golf
Resort Hotel. Its design demands a precise game as its fairways are lined
by pine trees some 100 years old. The clubhouse, with a notable English
atmosphere, and with its own special charm, lends Golf de Pals a final
touch for first-class day of golf.
