The first of two Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses – “Monte Rei North” – opened for play in June 2007 and offers the player a unique design in a tranquil golf environment, where every hole is as remarkable as the next. The Grill

The Grill provides an informal setting dining outside on the covered terrace or inside at the Clubhouse's all-day restaurant. To enhance your day while at Monte Rei, Chef Lourenço has designed a range of light dishes from breakfast through lunch and afternoon snacks which use the best regional products to create local and international delicacies. Favorites include the Monte Rei Club Sandwich and Caesar Salad.

The Academy Café
The perfect setting for a light snack, this Monte Rei alfresco venue overlooks the tree-lined practice fairway, located conveniently at the "turn" near the 1st and 10th golf tee.
Affectionately known simply as the "Academy" by Monte Rei resort staff, the shaded terraces is a refreshing alternative to enjoy a house-made Grilled Panini Sandwich or a perfect frothy cappuccino.

Veranda
At the heart of Miradouro Village, surrounded by extensive manicured gardens is Veranda – the focal point of the Village.

Veranda is the perfect place to socialise, relax and enjoy the sun. Veranda Restaurant opens seasonally and is the ideal place for a light snack or an informal meal by the pool.

The Kid's Villa is located just a few steps away from the swimming pools and Veranda allowing families to have fun together in this unsupervised playroom which hosts a selection of indoor and outdoor games, toys, a playstation and Internet stations, including wi-fi.

Both towns offer amongst many pleasures, a choice of appealing restaurants serving irresistible selections of fresh local fish.
The Ria Formosa Nature Park and the National Forest of Vila Real de Santo António are wonderful places for long walks, bicycle tours or bird watching, allowing the visitor to observe the local fauna and flora and enjoy moments of pure relaxation.
