Amendoeira Golf Resort offers a 360 degree range of services in order to provide to you the best experience. All apartments and villas have high speed wi-fi and home appliances, like dish washing machine, toaster and microwave, among many others. Housekeeping will make sure that everything is clean and kept tidy. A handyman is also on site ready to fix or take care of any problems regarding your accommodation.
Sit back and enjoy the pool or let time slip away while you enjoy cocktails and a gourmet meal in the massive Clubhouse that has a panoramic view of the surrounding 270 hectares of land.
Need clubs or other equipment? Worry not, you can find a golf related store right inside the Clubhouse. Also in the Clubhouse, a small convenience store is available to purchase necessary goods.

At Amendoeira Golf Resort you will find two award-winning 18 hole golf courses, Faldo and O'Connor designed by world-renowned players, Sir Nick Faldo and Christy O'Connor Jr, and a 9 holes course, which is the only floodlit golf course in Portugal, allowing you to play at night. The Golf Academy team will help you improve your game, with the aid of unique high tech machines like "Trackman", and by practicing on the driving range or booking a lesson with a certified professional.

The Sports Club
The Amendoeira Sports Club offers a full range of sporting facilities, all finished to the highest specification to meet professional standards and set in the private and secure environment of the beautiful Amendoeira Golf Resort.

The Clubhouse
The Amendoeira Clubhouse stands proudly above the two championship golf courses, which have been sensitively integrated into this beautiful landscape. The Clubhouse features spacious changing rooms with lounge areas and a pro shop stocking a range of golfing and convenience items.
For refreshments and à la carte menu there is a lounge, a bar and a restaurant, with large outdoor terraces overlooking the golf courses. The Garden Deck serves daily buffet breakfast and it is a great location for every type of events.
In addition to offering golfing apparel and equipment, the Amendoeira Clubhouse also has a convenience corner which stocks a number of convenience items, such as water, milk, beer, nappies, sun cream and other toiletries. In addition, during restaurant opening hours, freshly baked bread can be purchased to take away.

If you are travelling with your kids, this region has a lot of entertainment to offer for the whole family. Aquaparks, adventures, you name it! 

Kidz Club
In Amendoeira Golf Resort you’ll keep everyone in your family happy and entertained, from parents to children. Your kids will have a 100 sqm Kids Club where they will be wonderfully taken care of by certified professionals and have the chance to make new friends and learn while they are playing and taking part in activities designed for their needs.

 Resort fun
Amendoeira Golf Resort has 2 large pools, divided by the two "neighborhoods", so you can avoid the crowds. In both you will find a hut bar with drinks, ice-creams and food. The massive Clubhouse, that fits both a bar and a restaurant, overlooks the 270 hectares of beautiful landscape and offers gourmet meals and kids menus to accommodate all tastes.

 Activities
If you’re looking for a fun day in a water park, all you have to do is choose between Aquashow, Slide&Splash and Aqualand. For those who want the chance to see animals and learn more about them, we recommend Zoomarine, the Zoo of Lagos, Krazy World Zoo or enjoy a truly scenic scenery with a Dolphins observation boat tour. But if you’re looking for something more adventurous, consider a Karting race, a segway tour or even pony and horse riding. If you want a different kind of program and the chance to learn a thing or two, consider these places: Children Life Sciences Centers and the FIESA international sand sculpture festival!

 Kids Golf Tournament
Each year, Amendoeira Golf Resort hosts the World Kids Golf Championship, that attracts juniors from the whole world to compete in a supportive environment that stimulates their growth and development as a golfer. Parents are encouraged to caddy for their children, creating a family bonding experience, during the competition; later, parents and children can play side by side in the Parent-Children Par-3 contest.

 Football Academy
If football is what makes your kid happy, you might want to get to know our Football Camps in Partnership with Football Escapes. This is your opportunity to combine your holiday at Amendoeira Golf Resort with a daily football activity for your children, with some true legends of the game. Open to all children aged 5-15, the courses are led by ex-professional players, like Rio Ferdinand, Teddy Sheringham, Bobby Zamora and many more.

Location:

Amendoeira Golf Resort is located in Alcantarilha, a half an hour ride from Faro airport.
Alcantarilha is a village, with beautiful scenery, and is also quite close to the beach, with the nearest beach a 10 minute drive.
It takes about two hours and 20 minutes to go from Alcantarilha to Lisbon or Seville, so a daytrip is actually quite a possible fit, either if you want to explore the capital of Portugal or get to know the Spanish historical city.
