• At present, all passengers who land at airports in Portugal from countries of the European Union, Schengen Associated countries (Liechtenstein, Norway, Iceland, Switzerland), UK, Australia, New Zealand, China, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Rwanda, Singapore, Thailand, the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macau and the United States of America, can enter provided they present a vaccination certificate or proof of recovery from COVID-19, emitted up to 90 days, or a negative PCR test.
• Those returning to the UK are currently (while mainland Portugal remains on the amber list) required to present negative PCR tests and quarantine at home for 10 days. Madeira, Portugal will move to the UK green watchlist 4am, Wednesday 30th June 2021 with no quarantine.
Portuguese golf courses were allowed to reopen on April 5th 2021 and restaurants were allowed to open on 19th April 2021. Protocols from the Portuguese Golf Federation are in place.
