At Aqualuz Troia Mar & Rio, relaxation is dressed in neutral colours and modern design. There are several wellness options at the Wellness Centre, which include the indoor and outdoor swimming-pools and sauna, jacuzzi, Turkish bath and fitness room. Options for food and beverage include chilling out at the Atrium bar, or enjoying a meal at the Azimute restaurant or at Il Palato. There is an animation team to keep all the children busy and entertained.
Only 5 minutes walking distance from the beach, the Aqualuz Lagoa hotel is a tall, modern building equipped with tennis courts and 2 swimming-pools.
Guest rooms feature modern furniture, ornaments in natural colours and private balconies, and are equipped with Flat Screen television by cable. Some apartments are fitted with fully equipped kitchenettes, where guests may prepare their own meals.

Restaurante Club House
During the remodelling of the Troia Golf Championship Course, the Club House Restaurant was built. Designed by the architect João Paciência, the Club House offers delicious meals overlooking the lake, and is in perfect harmony with the surrounding natural environment. This is a very cozy space in a modern style. The clubhouse, with its double height glass entrance and vast windows in the south and west, offers a comfortable and open atmosphere with views of the golf course. The spas are located on the north facing side, and the caddy master is on the lower floor, with direct access to the course. To the south, the dining areas offer large terraces with a privileged view to the Championship Course indluding holes 1, 18 and the lake.

About Troia
The Troia peninsula is a gigantic sand dune that has been forming over thousands of years, with the Atlantic Ocean to the west and the Sado estuary to the east. This unique location gives it an enormous wealth from the environmental point of view. In this privileged setting, with beach, dune, marsh, estuary and pine forest environments, the Troia Resort emerged as a project where the safeguarding and evaluating the environmental heritage were considered as differentiating factors.
To date, more than 600 species have been inventoried in the area, including flora, birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and organisms living in the intertidal zone. Explore two distinct tracks that will allow you to know the peninsula in a unique way.
The recognition of the wealth of the environmental heritage of Troia was not however recent, since the existence of a Roman site in the peninsula, which includes urban and industrial area (fish salting factory), shows that the Romans already had a sense of the enormous potential this place.
The presence of species such as Bottle-nose Dolphins demonstrates the ecological importance of this place. The Bottle-nose Dolphin population that uses the Sado estuary is the only resident of an estuary in the country and one of the few examples of coastal populations living in Europe, which makes this estuary a privileged and unique place.
Recognized Environmental Management
The development of Troia Resort was accompanied by the implementation of an environmental management system which progressively covered design, construction and operation activities and is certified according to ISO 14 001 and registered in EMAS, a pioneering case for resorts in Portugal. This certification includes, for example, Aqualuz units, the golf course, the marina, the beaches, the forestry area and associated infrastructures.
Troia Resort also encourages the use of environmentally friendly modes of transport, as well as providing optimal conditions for bicycle use, including a 5.5 km long bicycle lane and a charging station for electric vehicles.
